Comments
Cotton Valley is a district in east Wolfeboro, NH named after the Cotton family and including Cotton Mountain, Cotton Valley, and the north shore of Lake Wentworth. This scene was found by the authors to be an 1871 farmhouse on Cotton Mountain where, we assume, Hodgdon lodged later in his life.
