William Pearson (active mid-19th century)

William Pearson was active during the period 1857 to 1880, giving his address as New York City.  In 1860, his address in NYC was the same as that given for the artist Robert Pearson, suggesting they may have been related.

He exhibited at the National Academy of Design in 1857 (View in New Hampshire) and 1859 (Hillside Pasture, View in New Hampshire).  He exhibited at the Boston Art Club in 1887, 1881, and 1882 with two titles from Malden, Massachusetts.  Robert was know to be a well-known resident of Malden.

Please send any information on this artist to John J. Henderson.
