Hendricks A. Hallett was born in Charlestown, MA.
He was primarily a marine and historical painter. He studied in both Antwerp and Paris. He was a member of the Boston Art Club and the Boston Society of Water Color Painters. He exhibited at the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association in 1892 (medal), the Boston Art Club (1877 – 1909), the J. Eastman Chase Gallery in Boston (1886), and the Jordan Marsh Gallery (1896 – 1897).
Many of his seascapes are of Boston Harbor and Mt. Desert, Maine.
His last known address was Boston, Massachusetts.
